  1. Does StartupJobs have any job posting rules?

    Yes, please see rules.

  2. Who can advertise on StartupJobs?

    All technological and inovative companies that upgrade the world are welcome on StartupJobs. We have a special program for startups that will help them grow faster. It is not allowed to use StartupJobs services for personnel agencies, headhunters etc. - the companies can search for candidates only for subject advertising.

  3. Does StartupJobs handle personal data following GDPR?

    Yes, sure, personal data of users are secured. You can find more information about our personal data policy.

2. Job Offers

  1. How long will our job offer be published?

    Your job offer is valid for one month.

  2. Is it possible to edit our job offer after publishing?

    You can edit the text in your published job offers. However, changing the original purpose of published offers is not allowed (e.i. to change categories from PHP to marketing).

  3. Can we add a picture or video to our job offer?

    Yes, of course, you can insert an image or video directly into the text of the offer using the appropriate icon in the 1st step of inserting the offer - the “Description” tab.

  4. What does “Renew automatically” mean?

    Your job offer will be automatically prolonged for one month after expiration. You will be informed beforehand and can cancel anytime you want to. The price of an automatically renewed job offer is the same price as a new one.

  5. Can we set up automatic replies for our job offers? (sent to candidates after they apply)

    Yes, you can do it here.

  6. Can we get information about new candidates sent to more than one email address?

    Yes, you can set up multiple addresses per job offer. This option can be found in the section labeled “other options.”

  7. What will happen after selecting “hired” for our job offer?

    Your job offer will no longer be available to candidates. The personal data of the candidates (who haven’t consented to further personal data processing) will be anonymized at the same time. Please note, you will not be able to contact (or refuse) them as well.

  8. What happens if I click "Pause" on the offer?

    Candidates can't longer search for your job offer through StartupJobs. The offer detail informs the candidates that the offer is not currently active. The validity of the offer is not affected by the suspension.

3. Job Offer Promotion

  1. Can we order a promotion for our job offer while it’s valid?

    Yes. You can order promotions at any time by clicking on “promote” and choosing the type of promotion you are interested in.

  2. We’re unsure about the attractiveness of our job offer’s text. Can you help us?

    Sure, we would be happy to create tailormade text to meet the requirements of your job offer. The price of copywriting is $199 (without VAT) for one job offer.

  3. How to get more attention for your offer?

    Simply! Order the promotion "Get more visits" and increase the number of offer views!

  4. How do you get an offer to the top of the list of relevant categories?

    Using the so-called one-time offer topping. Using the One-time job offer promotion! This promotion you can use for offers that have active HotJobs. The price for topping the offer is $69 one time.

  5. How can I make my company even more visible?

4. Candidates

  1. Where do we find our candidates?

    The overview of candidates for all of your job offers is here.

  2. Where can I find candidates for each of our job offers?

    You can filter those candidates in the overview or find them in the list of your job offers.

  3. Can we find out when a particular candidate applied?

    Yes, you can see the date in the overview of candidates.

  4. What does “new” mean for a candidate?

    It means that you have yet to open the profile of that particular candidate.

  5. What does the heart mean for a candidate?

    You can mark the candidates you like with a heart. They can’t see it.

  6. Can we contact each of the candidates directly?

    Yes. Just click on “contact”.

  7. Can we take notes on a candidate?

    Yes, you can write notes. Notes are only visible to you and other managers of your startup profile.

  8. What do arrows mean next to a candidate’s profile?

    You can move to the next candidate by clicking on this arrow.

  9. What does “bulk rejection” mean?

    This allows you to reject all of the candidates for a particular offer. You can edit the text of the rejection message.

  10. Why should I write to a candidate I don't want to accept?

    Since they are still waiting for your response, if you don't want to hire them, let them know anyway. It's fair. You would also like to know what you are up to. In addition, we reward companies that provide feedback to candidates through the Cashback program! :)

5. Invoices

  1. Where can I find our invoices?

    You can find them here. (you can also see the invoice statuses)

  2. Why is there total amount 0?

    In case you have already paid the invoice, you will see total amount 0.

  3. What is the due date for an invoice?

    The default due date is 14 days.

  4. We don’t want to pay for advertising every month. Can we prepay for your services?

    Yes. You can buy a credits package (to pay for your orders in . You can also earn free bonus credits.here

6. Settings

  1. Can we edit our company information?

    Yes, you can edit the company information at any time in the company settings.

  2. Can we publish photos or videos?

    Yes, photos can be added to your gallery. In case you want to add a video, please contact us at support@startupjobs.com and we will take care of it.

  3. We have changed our invoice details. Can we edit them in our profile?

    Yes. Changes can be made in invoice details here.

  4. Can we edit automatic replies?

    Yes. You can create and edit replies for each job offer.
